Specialties
Sound Recordist
As most people do, I started out doing various student films and shorts, which is where I quickly discovered my passion. The first short I worked on, Three Categories or Less, won best screenplay at Z-fest in 2018. I also was the sound recordist and boom operator on the feature film Only Dance Can Save Us in September of 2018, which is currently being shown in film festivals.
Boom Operator
Boom opping itself is an art form. Most recently, I was in the audio department for the feature The Fence and the Fox, where I was a boom operator. It was filmed in October of 2019.
Post-Production Audio
Being able to bring films to life by doing sound design and foley is something I love. For Z-fest X, I was able to do work on two of the films I also did production sound for, Narrated and Kat, where Kat went on to win best fight scene.
Live Sound Engineer
The feeling of mixing a live show is an adrenaline rush. I have worked as the live sound engineer at both Pourhouse downtown and uptown locations, Crooners Lounge & Supper Club, Kieran's Irish Pub, Ziggy’s Restaurant, Mill City Nights and 3 Degrees Church. I have also done stagehand work, most notably on the Stone Sour and Halestorm tour in South Dakota in 2018.
Audio Engineer
I enjoy the close connections made when working with artists in a studio setting. My speciality is working with musicians and vocalists to bring out their best possible performance, and challenging them to try new techniques and ideas. My current focus is orchestral recordings.
Cellist
I have been playing for almost fifteen years, and took private lessons for seven years. I was involved in several community orchestras in Pennsylvania including the Montgomery County Honors String Orchestra, which I was a member of for two years, as well as the Young Musicians Community Orchestra, which I was a member of for six years. I also played in pit orchestras for the plays Annie Get Your Gun, Oliver and Titanic. Currently, I work as a studio musician.
